Wax Melt Safety Guide
To get the most out of your Ninety Eight Melts and ensure your home stays safe, please follow these guidelines:
- The Burner: Use a dedicated tea light burner or a certified electric wax warmer. If using a tea light burner, ensure it is at least 10cm tall to prevent the wax from overheating.
- The Tea Light: Only use a standard 4-hour unscented tea light. Never use an 8-hour tea light, as these can cause the burner to crack or the fragrance to burn off too quickly.
- Placement: Place your burner on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, curtains, and flammable objects.
- Supervision: Never leave a lit candle or melting wax unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Don't Overfill: Do not add water to your wax. Use 1–2 segments of your snap bar or 1–2 heart melts at a time, depending on the size of your burner bowl.
- When to Change: When the fragrance is no longer noticeable, it’s time to change the wax. To remove, let the wax cool slightly and pop it out, or soak up melted wax with cotton wool balls.
